As there are many serious as well as relatively minor bladder and urinary disorders, it is advisable to consult your veterinary surgeon if you think that your dog or cat may be suffering from this type of condition. As our pets age they may become more susceptible to these problems and kidney conditions are very common in cats and some breeds of dog. These will usually be diagnosed by your vet and should always be treated under veterinary supervision.
